Mr Dennis Burns is organising one of his world-famous Beach Trainings for January 19th 2012. Make sure to mark it in your diary and keep it free. These are a ton of fun and a perfect way to kick off into the new year!

When: Saturday 17th December, from 5pm Location: 60 Hornsey Road, Melrose The end of year BBQ is an opportunity for all the Spirit clubs to get together for a meal. It's also a chance to recognise some of the great achievements and contributions members have made over the last 12 months.
This year we've decided to host it at a house - Kieran Martin's place at 60 Hornsey Road, Melrose.
The club will provide food, but if you'd like to bring food to share - that would be most welcome as it adds to the variety - but you don't have to.
Just let Kieran know ahead of time. Also tell him if you have special dietary requirements. Please let us know whether you intend to come so we know how much food to get.
You can contact Kieran by

or just tell him when you see him at club!
Kup grading is on the 10th December, 8:30am.
It is being held at Spirit Newlands, which is in the big green Newlands Centennial Hall on Newlands Road (in Newlands!).
If you are coming from the motorway, take the Newlands offramp and just follow the road, until you see the hall on the right side, next to the fire station. It's pretty hard to miss, but if you do end up at the roundabout then you've gone just a bit too far.
Please be there at 8:15 to get prepared for grading.
Beginners classes run for 4 lessons over a two week period.
We are proposing that the next one will commence on Monday 26th of September and run for two weeks as follows
Monday night 6:15 at Mondays: Kelburn Normal School, 16 Kowhai St, Kelburn
Thursday night at 6:15pm Vogelmorn Hall, Cnr Mornington Rd and Vennel St, Mornington

There is a National Camp coming up on the 23rd - 25th March 2012, at Tui Ridge, near Rotorua.
These are a great opportunity to have a lot of fun learning from our most senior instructors (including our 5 Masters), to have a lot of fun, learn a lot, and meet a bunch of people from the Taekwon-Do community in New Zealand.
The camp is open to all ages and ranks, and is very highly recommended.
It doesn't happen very often. The last national camp was in 2008, so make sure you don't miss the opportunity.
