The management team of the National/Oceania Tournament in Wellington in July are looking for helpers. Help is also required for the World Championships too, with many of the same people involved in the organisation.
This is actually a great opportunity to get involved in a once-in-a-lifetime experience! How many people do you know with “Organised World Championships” on their CV? The Nationals are going to be run as a testing ground for the Worlds, and to top it off it is also doubling as the Oceania Championships as well.
You can register your interest to help out at the Nationals on form on the ITFNZ web page. There is no doubt that you will also have the opportunity to help out at the Worlds as well.
This is not just for senior members of the schools. Anybody can help out, be it a training member (even you brand new people!), parent, partner, friend... anyone! For black belts ... this will count towards contribution credits. This doesn’t have to be a huge commitment... even if you can only help out a little bit, please go ahead and register.
