Spirit Taekwon-Do Group has an arrangement with Sapius, a Wellington-based supplier of ITF Taekwon-Do doboks, to supply doboks to Spirit members. Although you are free to choose any ITF-approved dobok supplier, we believe that the quality and fit of the Sapius doboks make them a very good choice.

Also, if you order a Sapius dobok through Spirit you will have it delivered to you free of charge, which is a great saving. Spirit will also be keeping a small selection in stock.

These are quality doboks, and great to wear! In particular the shoulder design means that the dobok fits really well and doesn't ride up during training.

Features are:
* The pre-shrunk ribbed fabric is soft, looks good, promotes air flow and resists shrinkage.
* Fully embroidered with the latest ITF logo,  ITF Tree, pants ITF lettering and the ITFNZ logo.
* Special design with Velcro jacket fastener, tapered sleeves and pants, and freedom of movement around the shoulders preventing it from "riding up" during training.
* Six lines of stitching around the neck, and four lines around the cuffs.
* Jacket side splits are reinforced with a second layer of fabric, giving the Dobok excellent shape and snap.
* An elastic waistband and drawstring makes it easy to get the pants on and off, plus there is a mouthguard pocket inside the waistband.

There is also a selection of compression wear available. You can find out more about compression wear here.

The Sapius website has more information about the doboks and sizing information. But make sure that you come back to the Spirit website to order.

Gup (coloured belt) doboks are $89.95. Dan (Black belt 1st to 3rd Dan) doboks are $99.95.

To order, or to ask any question, please go to the order form.

What Our People Say

I started TKD at 37 after watching my kids give it a go. I hadn't done anything physically for 10 years and it took me out of my comfort zone. It gave me the confidence that I could do look after myself. I have never been fitter or stronger mentally or physically. I have also met some amazing people who I now regard as my closest friends. After 12 years TKD is now a way of life, not just a hobby.
